ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR/CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT – MATERNITY LEAVE POSITION

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our award-winning team in Numurkah. Your new role:

This role will include bookkeeping and working closely with our Accountant, liaising with subcontractors and suppliers, reception duties and general office administration. You will also be required to provide support to our construction team where required by organising both residential and commercial job documentation, liaising with clients and other tasks. Your input into continual improvement will be well regarded as well as your ability to follow procedures and work harmoniously within a team. This is a part time role, initially offered as a 6-month maternity leave position. Hours will be 9am – 5pm, 3 days a week.

You will have:

  • Proven organisational skills with ability to prioritise effectively
  • Down to earth personality with an above and beyond attitude that no task is too big
  • Bookkeeping experience including accounts payable, account reconciliations, petty cash, purchase orders
  • Office administration experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High competency with computers
  • A strong work ethic and the willingness to help others, take direction and work in a small team
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is an advantage

Site Supervisor

Your new role:

This role will include supervising new home construction sites, ensuring projects are completed to a high standard, on time and to the specifications of the work order. Maintaining records for all work carried out and leading by example to create a positive culture within the business are fundamental to this role. Your input into continual improvement will be well regarded as well as your ability to follow procedures.

You will have:

  • Proven planning, time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to achieve tight deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Competency with computers
  • A valid driver’s licence
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Residential Site Supervisor
  • The ability to instigate and create solutions when others around you are seeking guidance
